The Big Islandʻs Grandest Gathering of Realms
Hark! On the 20th and 21st weekend of September 2025, the rolling greens of the Volcano Golf Course shall be wondrously transformed into the realm of the very first Volcano Renaissance Faire! A gathering most grand, where history, fantasy, and culture shall entwine amidst the splendor of Hawaiʻi’s highlands. Tickets are $15 presale and $20 at the door for 13 and older. Twelve and younger are free with a paid adult!
For the first time in any such fest, a Hawaiian Village filled with ancient chant and hula kahiko shall rise among villagers, warriors, chief and chiefesses—master crafted with authenticity under the wise counsel of Creative Hawaiian Cultural Advisor Kumu Kauila Kawelo—to honor the living traditions of these sacred islands and its glorious people.
Prepare thyselves to be transported by world-class performers across three most wondrous stages, where dashing acrobats, masters of flame, merry minstrels, and bravely partipate in competitive games and demonstrations with fantastical characters from magical realms shall entice and dazzle all ages gathering, from near and afar, at sunrise ’til eventide!
Brought forth by Lōʻihi Studios and Bang Boom Big Island, in noble fellowship with Recycle Hawaiʻi and The Volcano Golf Course, this merriment invites townsfolk and travelers alike to behold a most enchanting union of worlds, right here upon the Big Island.
